Delsol Law & Tax — along with its affiliated entities Paassen Delsol Tax Lawyers, Delsol Tax Lawyers, Digital Nomads Tax Advisors, and Delsol Corporation N.V. — represents the legal practice of the living woman, Shulaika Beatrix, from the house of Delsol-Nicolaas.
With over 30 years of experience, Shulaika has navigated the Dutch legal system, gaining extensive knowledge in statutes, regulations, civil and criminal codes, tax laws, international treaties, and contract law. Since 2021, she has focused on the study and application of Law of the Land, helping individuals and communities comprehend the differences between the traditional maritime legal system and lawful living under Law of the Land. By merging her conventional legal expertise with Law of the Land, she develops a unique framework that fosters justice, kindness, fairness, and peace.
Born in 1970 A.D. on the island of Curaçao, Shulaika earned her Master’s degree in Law, specializing in Taxation, from the University of Groningen (Netherlands) in 1994. Her legal career began as a Tax Inspector for the Dutch Tax and Customs Administration in Groningen. She later served as a Policy Officer at the Directorate of International Tax Affairs of the Ministry of Finance in The Hague and at the Directorate of Taxes of the Netherlands Antilles in Curaçao.
In 1998, Shulaika transitioned to the private sector, joining Citco Group Ltd in Curaçao as a Tax Lawyer, followed by her role as Senior Tax Manager at Deloitte, where she built extensive expertise in trusts and foundations, as well as cross-border tax planning.
In 2001, she founded her own law firm in Curaçao, offering tax and legal services with a focus on trusts, private foundations, and cross-border planning for individuals and businesses in Curaçao, Bonaire, and the Netherlands.
Driven by a strong sense of justice and an insatiable curiosity, Shulaika dedicates significant time to research, ensuring she keeps pace with the rapidly evolving societal developments.
Fluent in Papiamentu, English, Dutch, and Spanish, Shulaika effectively connects diverse communities through her practice and vision.
